Introduction
Mercury is naturally-occurring substance in natural gas which is both toxic and detrimental to natural gas infrastructure (in the gas processing plant or gas transfer facility). Mercury can amalgamate with metal even at trace level. Over time, the corrosion can lead to consequential damages to plant equipment or gas pipes. Continuous monitoring of mercury in natural gas is critical to protect gas plant and gas infrastructure assets.
Our mercury analyzer uses spectrometric analytical method to achieve trace level (ppb) measurement and is suitable for natural gas sample. The ExD hazardous area protection also allows its implementation in remote gas transfer area or locations where instrument air utility is not readily available.
